If you would like to register as a new member, you will need to complete the USA Water Ski membership as well as the registration for Shakopee Prior Lake Water Ski Assoc (SPLWSA), both of which can be accomplished at www.TeamShockwaves.com/membership

Types of water skiing
The Shakopee Prior Lake Water Ski Association offers several different opportunities to ski with us:
- Show Team: The show team puts on about 10 ski shows during the summer (Thursday evenings). This includes pyramids, barefooting, ski jumping, ballet, and much more
- Junior Development: Young skiers receive weekly lessons from an experienced coach to learn some or all of the "3-event" disciplines (slalom, jump, and trick).
- Learn-to-ski: We host several learn-to-ski events for new skiers. No experience expected.
- Reserved timeslots: Members practice their skills during a reserved timeslot that recurs weekly.
